Yesterday, I went over to Rosie and Ken's for dinner. She wanted to give me a key so that I could get into the house this week while they are in Florida. We had a pizza and then ice cream. It was SO hot and she didn't want me walking so she came and picked me up. But by the time it was time to go home, I did walk because it had cooled down.

This morning, they left at 6:00 and little Roxie was alone until I got here at 9:00. She was glad to see me and jumped up into my lap. Pretty soon, though, she was down and by the front door where she's enjoying a siesta in front of the glass door, sapping up the sun. They just announced on the news the overturning of "Roe vs Wade". I fear the violence that will ensue by the people that want the right to choose to murder their children. Several years ago, in The Parler, at my property, TheCypressBuilding.com there was a conversation about abortion. Here is that thread.

And speaking of TheCypressBuilding, yesterday i featured the great Mexican-American singer Vikki Carr and the day before that, Shirley Bassey. Both of their voices are very similar with lots of strength.

I've just finished some hotel guest correspondence and am going to take Roxie out and then, waddle over and have some delicious Chinese at a great litte place I've discovered.

Well, I'm back and I never made it to the Chinese place. Instead, I went to Captain D's for some fish. And while the fish was delicious, the service was WAY TOO SLOW. It took me about 25 minutes to get my order. I'm not sure I will go back there.
