"I will speak ill of no man not even in matter of truth;
But rather excuse the faults I hear charged upon others
And upon proper occasion, speak all the good I know of everybody."
Benjamin Franklin
Several months ago, I featured this young man. I don't know HOW it's possible that someone so young can play SO MUCH by memory with no score in front of him; and with such skill! I REALLY enjoy this pianist. And so, today, in The Highland Room, Alexander Malofeev is playing Rachmaninoff's Etude, Op 39, No 6 - better known as "Little Red Riding Hood". I love it. Give it a listen!!
And, in The Peachtree Room, there is a wonderful narration of the poem "Think Happy Thoughts". It is written by my favorite poet, Edgar Albert Guest
We're going downtown this afternoon. After our appointment, I'm sure we'll stop somewhere for dinner. Who knows where!
(Later) As it turns out, we came home and David had Chinese left overs from yesterday and I had hamburgers and frenchfries - and we had coconut cake. Yum, yum.
