Today in The Highland Room, out in The Great Hall, of TheCypressBuilding.com, the renowned Dame Shirley Bassey is in concert. She has always been one of my favorite artists and I'm happy to feature her today. And in The Peachtree Room, Buddhist Timber Hawkeye is giving a great talk on "Unconditional Kindess". I hope you will have a listen.

Yesterday (Saturday) was a good day. First of all, I received my copy Housewarming: A Guide to Creating a Home You Adore. It's written by a couple whose blog I follow and I spent a good portion of yesterday afternoon, on the couch, with the air blowing on me, my piano music in my ear and my sweet tea to my side as I perused the book. Click the link and get a copy for yourself.

Yesterday, we decided to try out a new Italian restaurant that we found out about online: Luigis Italian Grill. And we were so pleased with it. I had read online that the owner had just moved here from New York City and had opened the restaurant in March of this year. The restaurant is basically, a "hole in the wall", just a little restaurant in a shopping center. But the food was SO delicious. And the owner is the cook! HE prepared our food for us. That might make the difference beause you could tell he cared about the taste and the presentation. And his wife waited on us. She was SO kind - very professional and she gave us great customer service. We feel that we have now found our "Italian go-to".

David got the Veal Parmisean and Fettucine Pasta

And I got the Lasagana. SO good!

And we both enjoyed their GARLIC bread!
