I was out and about the other day, having gone to Barnes and Noble Bookstore. While I was there, I couldn't resist snapping this picture. Barnes and Noble is in a large shopping mall called Bridgestreet. And they have this choo choo train that goes around the complex picking up people and transporting them around. The way I was alerted to it was that I was sitting on a bench outside and all of a sudden, I heard a loud horn beeping. It was this lady. In another post, on another day, I have a picture of the train elsewhere on the property.

Today, in The Highland Room, out in The Great Hall, here at TheCypressBuilding.com, I am featuring a WONDERFUL performance by the great organist, Cameron Carpenter. What makes this performance so intertaining is that he plays it WITH HIS FEET! It's Chopin's great "Revolutionary Etude" and is a must-listen. And then, in The Peachtree Room, a very wonderful thought, written by "America's poet", Edgar Albert Guest. It's called "Have your earned your tomorrow". Absolutely you should give it a listen.

I'm so exited!! I just booked a cruise for November 26 through December 1. The cruise is on Royal Caribbean. I went on a cruise with them back in 2019 and had such a great time. I had booked another one for 2020 but then, Covid came and the cruise was cancelled. So I know that I am going to have a great time. I will be taking Amtrak Train FOR FREE to New Orleans. I had points built up with Amtrak, so I'm cashing in some of them. Then, when I arrive in New Orleans, I will be staying at a very nice Best Western right on St Charles. And it will be FREE also. I had points built up with Best Western so I cashed them in. It's just about  3 tenths of a mile from the French Quarter so I can walk there and WILL walk around. I booked two nights at the hotel because I will be arriving at 9:00 at night. Then the next day will be spent sight-seeing around the quarter. I've been there several times before in the past, so I know the area. My cousin lives there and so I will see if she wants to meet up. Then, on the 26th, I will be boarding The Radiance of the Seas for a 5 day cruise to Cozumel and Puerto Maya, Mexico. For the cruise, I did receive a 200.00 credit because I used my Royal Caribbean credit card. So my cruise for 5 days, all the food, entertainment and drinks will only cost me $400. So I think I came out pretty good.
