Today, in The Highland Room, I am featuring my mother's favorite singer, Perry Como as he sing's the Mexican melody, "It's Impossible"; such a beautiful song. And, in The Peachtree Room, I'm featuring a very inspirational poem, "Do it now" by Charles Skinner. Be sure to visit these rooms today in The Myrtle Foster Faulkner Memorial Conference Rooms, here at TheCypressBuilding.com.
Happy woke me up early this morning for my morning walk. She took me here and yon and fortunately, the weather wasn't hot at all and so it was enjoyable. Then, it was back home to answer my mail from the hotel. I had one special request that I had to call in for to make sure it happened and now, I've just been listening to gorgeous music (click, minimize and listen as well as YOU surf online) as I'm working on this site until lunch.
Yesterday, we decided to try a restaurant that my sister had told me about. It's about 20 minutes from home but she said she liked it and she thought I would too. It's called Jonathan's and boy, DID WE LIKE IT! First of all, the service there was impeccable; just wonderful. The waiter told me that he had been a waiter for 25 years and I believe him because he had it down pat. I'm afraid he bankrupted me when it came time for his tip.
And the food was SO good. Davidgot the prime rib (above) and I got a stuffed potatoe with pork and all the fixings (see top). The meat had a sweet tangy taste to it and was so good. We couldn't finish it all, so we had left overs for supper. David is a very picky eater and often complains at restaurants but he loved it too. We'll be going back. When I got home, I texted Rosie and told her she made a good recommendation.
Today, I'm working on transferring all of my pictures from a site that I'm closing down, to this building so I will be busy all day. Be sure to check out my special offer at the bottom of the screen and do, have a GREAT day!
