It's an overcast Sunday morning. Happy and I have already been out, where she took me on a long walk - a path that she and I had never gone before. She loves to sniff. So, I go where she leads.
We have a reservation for a Drunch - a late lunch or early dinner. It's at 3:30 at Texas de Brasil. We have been there twice before and because I have a discount membership with them, we want to use it. It's a Brasilian steak house and SO good. David is still asleep so I'm being very quiet, in the den. He'll be getting up soon and we will head out.
Today, in The Higland Room, out in The Great Hall, I am featuring the great cellist, Stefan Hauser as he plays the hauntingly beautiful "Adagio" and in The Peachtree Room, Simergeet Singh is reading a VERY wonderful poem call "My soul has a hat". This reading is especially meaningful to me at this time of my life. I hope you will click over and give it a listen.
