For the last two days, I have been featuring a very emotional and beautiful French song in The Highland Room, out in The Great Hall. When it came time to take the song down, another very well known French song popped up, sung by a very famous French singer and actor, Yves Montand. I could not resist featuring him today. I have always loved this song. We know it here in the states as "Autumn Leaves". If you have a chance, click over to The Highland Room and listen to it. I believe you will enjoy it.

Two days ago, I went with David when he went to donate plasma. I decided that I would donate also. I went through the sign up process only to be turned away. First, my pulse was too low. Then they had me wait 10 minutes and retry. And then, my blood pressure was too high!! So they told me to come another day and try again. I'm not sure if I will or I won't. But i might!

Yesterday, we drove out on University to the Chick Fil A. Their dining room had reopened (after the pandemic) and we reallly enjoyed it. I'm so glad things are reopening. Today, the only time I've been off the sofa was to take Happy out and to check the mail.

I've checked in with the hotel and had two pieces of correspondence to answer and I did arrange for a room at our Oakwood property for a friend of mine.

This afternoon is being spent on my manuscript. It's harder than I thought it would be!!!

In closing, I'd like to encourage you to "think happy thoughts".
