I got up this morning to several emails waiting on me from past and future guests. So I spent a while on that and then I talked with Elena a while. Then it was time for Happy to take me on my walk. Now, David's preparing lunch. We'll see what the afternoon brings.
Every Tuesday, here at my building, they fill the community room with FREE FOOD from our local Publix. Publix brings unsold-by-expiraton date food and they donate it here. And the food lis perfectly good, only one day past expiraton. Look what I snapped up. If I would have bought this cake and hamburger buns myself, I would have paid almost 20.00. And I didn't pay anything. I love bargains and I call that a bargain! And the cake was delicious.
Yesterday, we decided to go out for pizza so we went to Pieology, which is a great little pizzeria located at Bridgestreet, a local mall. They cook the pizza right there in front of you in their brick oven. And it was so good.
I couldn't help snapping the below picture. There was a dog in a baby carriage waiting on its pizza. I asked the lady if I could take the puppy's picture and she didn't mind. Talk about spoiled!
