On February 6, 1930, The Great Curator in the Great Musuem, decided to send a painting to be put on loan down in earth's drab museum. He walked from room to room of that Great Museum trying to decide which painting He would loan.
First, He was going to send "The Mona Lisa" but He changed His mind to "The girl with the pearl earring". And then, once again, He changed his mind to "The Dinner Party".
But he just wasn't pleased with any of those paintings. Because this painting had to be special. It had to be a painting that would bring light and pleasure to a drab museum. And so, He decided to paint His OWN painting: a masterpiece. He toiled and labored for many hours getting the stroke of his brush to hit in just the right angle and with just the right amount of timbre. Oh, how the angels and cherubs were singing with each stroke of the brush. Word had spread far and wide that The Great Curator, that great creator, was creating a masterpiece. And finally it was finished.
Lovingly, He took it down from the easel and looked at it. Immediately, He exclaimed: "Why, I'll call this 'The Martha Frank'"! He lovingly began to wrap that great painting in wrappings of loving kindness and open mindedness; and a special wrapping of "you're my special person".
When the painting was ready, He handed it to His most trusted courier who immediately delivered it to Earth's museum.
And for 78 years, that great painting, "The Martha Frank", had a first-class run. People would come from far and wide to admire that painting; to regale in its beauty; to love and respect it.
And people would look at "The Martha Frank" from different angles. A few had the privilege of looking at it from the angle of a niece or of a nephew. Still a few more had the even better honor of looking at it from a grandchild's angle. And three very special people had the great honor of looking at that great painting head on as an adoring child. And then, many hundreds of people looked at that painting from the angle of a friend.
But no matter the angle, everyone saw the same painting: a painting of beauty, grace, femininity, open-mindedness, acceptance and kindness.
For 78 years, "The Marth Frank" brought pleasure and beauty to all that beheld it. But finally, the day came when The Great Curator decided to return the painting to His own museum. He was aware of the great success that it brought down in Earth's museum and He realized that it was time to hang it in all of its beauty in The Great Museum, to be admired and loved for eternity.
And so, at 6:15 pm on February 20 of 2008, He returned "The Marth Frank" to be hung in His most prized room. For you see, in this room, all of the paintings were painted from the same brush and were forever intertwined.
And today, that great painting, "The Martha Frank", hangs right between "The Papa" and "The Raymond" . And beside "The Raymond", hangs "The Lois".
Directly across the room in view of "The Martha Frank", hangs "The Myrtle Foster Faulkner" and to its right, hangs "The A. T. Faulkner".
To the left of "The Myrtle Foster Faulkner", hangs "The Faye Hoskins Chandler" and directly underneath,, hangs "The Mom", "The Big Boy" and "The Baby Stackhouse", as well as "The Alfred Jr" and "The Pete Stackhouse".
And so today, that wondrous painting, "The Martha Frank" is forever on display in The Great Museum's most hallowed room for all the famed and loved of each generation to now enjoy.
